Warm Oak Character with a Herringbone Layout

KRONOTEX Pisa Oak D3861 combines a warm, honey-golden oak colour with the structured movement of a traditional herringbone floor. The décor includes flowing grain lines, occasional knots and gentle tonal variation, giving the surface a natural appearance without making the room feel overly rustic.

The individual 1-strip boards measure 665 × 133 mm and are arranged at right angles to form the herringbone pattern. A four-sided bevel defines each board and makes the geometry more visible after installation. The ER registered-embossed surface aligns the texture with the printed wood grain for a more convincing oak effect.

Suitable Interior Applications

The warm colour works particularly well with cream walls, natural stone, beige upholstery, light timber furniture and darker architectural accents. Pisa Oak can be considered for living rooms, dining spaces, bedrooms, entrance areas, offices, boutiques and design-led commercial projects where its Class 32 and AC4 rating meets the project requirements.

Its balanced colour makes it easier to use across both contemporary and transitional interiors. However, the herringbone layout creates more visual activity than a conventional straight-plank floor, so furniture, wall finishes and adjoining materials should remain reasonably restrained.

Installation and Care Guidance

The collection uses a floating CLIC installation system with complementary board types used to create the pattern. Precise setting-out is essential: the subfloor should be dry, clean, stable and level, and the first rows must be aligned accurately. Professional installation is recommended for larger rooms, connected spaces and commercial projects.

Maintain the floor with regular vacuuming or sweeping and occasional damp cleaning using a laminate-safe product. Remove spills promptly, avoid excessive water and use protective pads beneath movable furniture
