Warm Oak Character with a Herringbone Format
KRONOTEX Ferrara Oak D3860 brings warm taupe-brown tones, darker grain markings and natural-looking knots into contemporary and classic interiors. The narrow plank format is designed for herringbone installation, giving the floor a more decorative, architectural character than conventional straight plank laminate.
Each panel measures 665 × 133 mm and has an 8 mm thickness. The 1-strip decor is combined with an ER registered embossed surface, helping the texture follow the visible wood pattern more closely. Four-sided V-grooves define the individual panels and make the completed herringbone layout more noticeable.
Performance and Suitable Applications
Ferrara Oak is rated Class 32 and AC4. It can therefore be considered for residential interiors and projects where the specified traffic requirements match this classification. The compact proportions work particularly well in reception areas, living rooms, dining spaces, bedrooms, home offices and boutique commercial interiors.
The flooring uses a 5G locking system and is listed as compatible with underfloor heating. Final suitability should still be checked against the heating-system temperature limits, underlay specification and site conditions before installation.
Buying and Installation Guidance
Herringbone laminate requires significantly more alignment and setting-out than a conventional straight plank floor. A flat, properly prepared subfloor is essential, and professional installation is recommended for customers without previous herringbone fitting experience. Order a physical sample before purchasing large quantities, as warm brown flooring can appear different under daylight, warm artificial lighting and surrounding furniture colours.
