Natural Oak Character in a Herringbone Layout

KRONOTEX Metz Oak D3766 combines the structured appearance of oak with the distinctive geometry of herringbone flooring. The decor uses individual 665 × 133 mm boards that are arranged to create the classic directional pattern, bringing more movement and visual detail to the room than a conventional straight-plank installation.

The colour sits between light and medium oak, blending beige, taupe and restrained grey-brown tones. Fine linear grain, gentle tonal variation and occasional darker knots give the surface a calm, natural character without making the floor look excessively rustic. This balanced palette works particularly well with warm white walls, neutral fabrics, black accents, stone finishes and light or dark wood furniture.

Metz Oak is specified as a 1-strip decor with ER registered embossing. This surface structure coordinates the embossed texture with the printed wood grain to create a more convincing visual and tactile effect. V4 bevelled edges define the individual boards and make the completed herringbone arrangement easier to see.

With a Class 32 and AC4 classification, Metz Oak is positioned for residential interiors and suitable commercial applications used within the manufacturer’s classification guidelines. Potential settings include living rooms, bedrooms, home offices, reception spaces, boutiques, meeting rooms and professionally designed apartments.
