Warm Oak Character in an Extra-Wide Plank
KRONOTEX Makro Oak Silver combines a soft golden-beige oak tone with subtle grain movement and a clean 1-strip plank design. Despite the “Silver” name, the décor appears noticeably warmer than a conventional grey floor, making it well suited to interiors that need a light, natural and welcoming foundation.
The extra-wide 244 mm boards help the grain remain visually open and uninterrupted. This can make the flooring particularly effective in spacious living rooms, open-plan apartments, villas, offices, retail interiors and hospitality environments. The restrained colour also coordinates easily with cream, white, taupe, natural stone, black metal and light or medium-toned furniture.
Makro Oak Silver is identified as décor D41642 within the KRONOTEX MAMMUT PLUS collection. It uses an ER Registered Emboss surface, where the embossed texture follows the printed wood design for a more convincing oak appearance. Four-sided V4 bevels visually define each individual plank.
The floor is manufactured in a 1845 × 244 mm format with a 10 mm thickness. Its Class 33 and AC5 rating positions it for demanding residential interiors and suitable commercial applications. The current MAMMUT PLUS specification also lists a 5G click connection and waterproof performance in accordance with NALFA, subject to correct installation and the manufacturer’s wet-room requirements.
For UAE projects, the subfloor should be professionally inspected for flatness and residual moisture before installation. The correct underlay, vapour protection and expansion clearances should be selected for the specific property and air-conditioning conditions.
